As an Emmy-nominated sportscaster, Carolyn's broadcasting career began at Western Kentucky University, where she hosted a daily sports report on a local radio station. She was the first female sportscaster in the state of Kentucky, and would later become the first female sportscaster in the state of Tennessee, when she became the Weekend Sportscaster on the ABC-affiliate in Nashville.
Carolyn later joined KHOU in Houston, Texas as the weekend Sportscaster, and followed by joining KRON in San Francisco as a Sports Reporter, Anchor and producer. She also worked at KGO-TV and KGO Radio as a sports reporter, before ESPN beckoned.
While there, Carolyn anchored SportsCenter, and other shows.
She also traveled around the country as one of the network's investigative and special features reporter.
Eventually, she moved back to the Bay Area to be with family.
Since then, Carolyn has added skills such as news-writing for iHeartMedia and news anchoring and reporting for KGO-Radio, and KFBK in Sacramento. She is currently enjoying roles as a sports reporter and traffic reporter for KCBS Radio in San Francisco.
